This chansonnier was collected under the supervision of Johannes Tinctoris in Naples around 1475. It is a major source for the chansons of his friend Antoine Busnois (cf. collected chansons in this section).
We would like to thank for the extensive work of the printed edition by Leeman Perkins and Howard Garey (Yale University Press 1979). A new edition was necessary, though, as many notational details of this edition (bar lines and slurred groupings) are very disturbing and prevent from reading this music properly.
Our edition was completed with the CMME notational program. Thanks to Ted Dumitrescu for his help.
Download for personal use and performance is free. Please donate for our work. All rights remain with the editor Clemens Goldberg and Goldbergstiftung.
